Program for
children and young people with special needs
This program is
for children, teens and adults who are receiving
special education services and who, without a
structured setting, would be unable to be
successful in a typical camp or recreation
program. We offer a program that stimulates growth
and development and targets the social, emotional,
behavioral, and communication skills of children.
Our staff is carefully chosen for their ability to
work with children. They have the gift of creating
positive, memorable experiences for children with
special needs. The staff is under the supervision
and direction of experienced special education
teachers.
Activities may include: sports,
arts and crafts, karate, fishing, tennis,
bicycling, music, home economics, swimming, dance
and exercise, group games, and social activities.
Trips are scheduled to provide opportunities to
visit places of interest.
